LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–MJC Partners (“MJC”), a boutique investment bank with a historically proven expertise and focus on the financial services, financial technology, and blockchain sectors, recently announced the addition of three senior investment bankers to its team. The new group will add highly skilled, high-touch senior bankers that will be dedicated to covering the Blockchain and Fintech sectors full-time.

“The team will help our firm diversify its reach into additional complementary sectors and give us the ability to proactively and expediently react to the growing interests and focus of our existing and new clientele,” Michael J. Cavallaro, Founder and Managing Partner of MJC Partners, said.

Rob Fellinger, Nakul Mehta, and Collin Finnerty bring 30+ years of combined experience from BTIG, Evercore, Blackrock, Morgan Joseph TriArtisan, Stifel, and Deutsche Bank. They have spent the last 3+ year building differentiated relationships across the blockchain and fintech landscape, executing differentiated landmark transactions across the sector while developing a level of sector knowledge and connectivity that is unmatched by traditional peers. The team has experience advising both private and public companies across capital raising, M&A, and SPAC transactions. Mr. Mehta and Mr. Finnerty are based in New York and Mr. Fellinger is based in Los Angeles.

Rob Fellinger, Managing Director at MJC Partners, said, “Our team is thrilled to join MJC as we look to build the leading investment banking franchise focused on Blockchain & FinTech while continuing to advise our corporate clients and further developing our relationships with institutional investors. Despite the current headwinds faced by businesses in the space today, our strong conviction in the future of Blockchain and Digital Assets has not wavered, and we look forward to continuing to fill the gap that exists around experienced advisors with a track record of adding value across the full spectrum of investment banking services. Our combined capabilities, real domain expertise, extensive client relationships and deep connectivity into both strategic and financial investors sets us apart in being able to assist clients as a trusted, long-term partner.”

Nakul Mehta, Managing Director at MJC Partners, added, “We are delighted to join MJC and contribute to the firm’s success and ongoing momentum. MJC’s specialized approach combined with a strong track record of delivering successful solutions to clients were key drivers of our decision to join MJC, and we look forward to helping the firm advance to a new level by adding our domain expertise in Blockchain & Fintech. We see Blockchain technology continuing to transform a broad range of industries and are excited to be part of this transformative technological phenomenon. The MJC platform will allow us to continue advising our clients from early stages in their growth cycles, all the way to public markets and beyond.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Nakul, Rob, and Collin to the MJC platform, which will allow us to expand our reach geographically, expand into new verticals, and deepen our bench of the organization,” added Cavallaro.
